2021 Amlés Rendering Pinot Noir (Oregon)

SOLD OUT | Winemaker: Bryan Weil

The 2021 Amlés Rendering Pinot Noir, a distinguished release in the Colors of the World™ collection, celebrates a union of expertise and locale through its collaboration with Bryan Weil of Alexana Winery in the Willamette Valley. Lauded by Weil as “one for the record books,” this vintage has already taken its place among the memorable offerings of the region.

Aromatically, the wine is a canvas of soft red fruits with strokes of raspberry and cherry at the forefront, interlaced with the aromatic flourishes of rose petals and anise. The earthy undertones provide a foundation that grounds the sensory experience. On tasting, the wine exhibits a vivacious acidity, giving structure and poise to its profile. A core of cherry and wild, brambly notes progresses to a finish accented with the mature, developed flavors of tobacco and licorice.

Gracing the bottle, the “Afterglow” label, designed by Sharon Virts, encapsulates the essence of Willamette Valley’s stunning sunsets, a fitting tribute to the wine’s origin and the inspiration behind its creation.

The 2021 Rendering is a Pinot Noir that reflects its artistry inside and out. It stands as a testament to the finesse of winemaking and the eloquence of artistic expression. This vintage, now available, is an invitation to explore the depths of flavor and complexity that only a region as rich and vibrant as the Willamette Valley can impart, promising an exquisite addition to the tapestry of tastes for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
